Graduate College Student Sucess Workshop

The Graduate College is hosting an interactive in-person workshop on September 20 from 1 to 2:30 in 3403 Dunbar Hall. This workshop will discuss everything you need to know to thrive in graduate school. Some topics to address are campus and community support, funding, mental health and wellness, and more. A light lunch will be provided. Please register in advance .

WMU employees receive excellent benefits from the University and are encouraged to pursue educational opportunities. Register for an in-person informational session hosted by the WMU Graduate College to learn more about graduate program options, including application deadlines and requirements. Sessions will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Graduate College (West Walwood Hall, East Campus). If there is no registration, the session will be canceled that month, so be sure to sign-up in advance!

The Graduate College is pleased to offer two synchronous formatting workshops for the preparation of doctoral dissertations, master's with thesis option. The same content will be provided at each workshop. Register

The workshop will outline how to interpret the University's formatting requirements and relay helpful information on paperwork requirements, copyrighting, and the integrated dissertation submission process via ProQuest ETD Administrator. Participants are asked to have a copy of the WMU formatting guidelines readily available at the time of the workshop.
